Robert Post of Woodland Park, NJ, leads W.J. Post Inc. Mechanical Contractors in New York as president. He advanced to this position after working as vice president at the company. Robert Post manages a crew of fitters, plumbers, and specialists.
Mr. Post holds a business management and political science degree from Montclair State University. He has spent 28 years with the Local 274 Pipefitters and holds an HVACR license and certification as a welder. As owner and president of W.J. Post Inc. Mechanical Contractors, he directs a company recognized for its track record of excellence, specialized workforce, and sustained client relationships.
Mr. Post and his team have built a portfolio that includes major domestic and international companies such as Merck, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, Sanofi, Givaudan, and DSM. Under his leadership, the company has been recognized among the top mechanical contractors in New Jersey, earned the Governor’s Safety Award multiple times, and become a preferred contractor for hospitals, universities, food manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, and large corporate facilities.
In his free time, Mr. Post enjoys traveling, car racing, boat racing, concerts, sporting events, and fishing. He also loves helping veterans. His memberships include the Mechanical Contractors Association of New Jersey, the American Power Boat Association, and the Beach Haven Marlin & Tuna Club.
